Patients satisfied with the stem cells therapy

  • Dear Jana and all at Belgrade clinic.

I hope you are all well. Things are great here - my sleep is a lot better 6 hour stretches now and able to get back to sleep when disturbed, all without drugs for first time in 27 years. My legs are getting stronger thanks to the wonderful Physio and exercises. I can see a day in the near future when I won’t need a stick. My digestion is a lot better so no unconfortable tummy aches. I am a lot calmer and thinking clearer, the stress of illness has gone from my face which a lot of people have noticed, saying I look so well. I, will keep reporting, I am so happy (I thought I would never be well again but I am. Thanks to all of you).
Have a great Christmas all at Belgrade. Love
  • Would you please pass on the following messages to my dear friends at the Moscow clinic.

Please say hello to Katya and Liluba, who looked after me with such love and care, I will never forget their kindness. Hello to Tanya (no pain, normal). A special thanks to Alexandria with much love and best wishes for her future. I regret I didn't have the chance to say goodbye and thank you to Vitaliy Nikitin for all he did for me. Could you thank him from the bottom of my heart for his kindness and caring.

There were just too many others to list individually here, but I would like to send a big thank you to all the staff who showed such love and kindness to myself and Denyse during our stay. Our stay at the clinic felt like being part of a large and loving family and I will cherish that memory forever.
  • Dear doctor,
Uroš is staying healthy and happy and there are some changes in his condition. He is using a real toilet now; he do more things by himself - like taking clothes and shoes on and off, he is more interested in using pencil and crayons and he is playing with more toys than earlier. He did`t start talking yet, but he is often mumbling something. We finished giving him RNA medicines in January. We started giving him Chlorella 1000 mg 3 times a day on 12th of January and he is taking it well. Three days ago we did a check on Vitamin D3 and Calcium, so we are sanding you results. I hope you will respond and tell me your opinion about those results.
    Kindest regards,
    Stoja Senka
  • We think about you all the time and we often talk how nice it was staying in Clinic.

We had realy nice time there. We told to all our friends about Clinic and people there. He feels more stabile on his legs and I can see a bit improvment in his walking.

At the moment he is refusing to use roller walkek, he is walking with someone holding his hand. About his nervus it is a bit better. He is rune out of pils that we brought with us.
  • The driver came and pick us up, we went to clinic and I was shocked with the welcoming we received from the clinic. The staff was brilliant, my son was so much loved, and he felt really good.

Since we had stem cell treatment it's been nine months. It's unbelievable how our life has changed. Mom is calmer, dad is calmer. Why? Because our son is happy, now.
  • I started to feel an improvement in my right leg. I can now lift my leg higher than I could before and I’m finding that walking up and down the stairs, I can walk without actually holding on to the banister. The level of service here has been absolutely second to none with all of the staff.

The doctors are absolutely fantastic. The nurses, and the whole team…
  • There's familial atmosphere, rhythm, same people, kind words, and the medical staff is always available when you have a question, they come every day to see you.

It is important, they do not come just because of the treatment, the doctors are everyday here to ask you how your day was, how you feel, if the treatment eas difficult or easy. There is no clinical atmosphere, no hospital smell. In hospitals there is always the smell of drugs. Here I don’t feel it at all. thisw is actually like a villa.
  • What else can I say? I am very very happy with all the care that I received and I recommend this treatment to anybody who want to give it a go. Come and have an open mind and meet these wonderful people who will treat you gently and with respect. I’ll always be grateful.

    Thank you.
  • Well, the first month went well. I regained my psychophysical energy, especially in the sport I practice, I felt an improvement...

Now I hope, I hope that in the future, and the doctors tell me that it is better, I hope that in the future I'll feel all the better.

Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Treated with Stem Cells

Client: Maria

Country: Italy

Good afternoon.

-Good afternoon.

Where are you from?

-From Alba, province of Cuneo.

So from Italy?

-Yes, yes!

Nice to meet you. Ms Maria, what is your diagnosis?

-It is hard for me to pronounce – P.S.P.

And what is P.S.P?

-It is short for Progressive supranuclear palsy.

I understand. What were your first symptoms?

-I’ve had pain in my leg, in both legs, undoubtedly, so to speak.

I understand. And the first treatment, when it all began, medications were prescribed to you? What was that like?

-They haven’t established the problem right away – two years needed to pass in order for them to discover the problem or the disease, rather.

I understand.

-And when they discovered the problem, the disease, that’s when she was prescribed Madopar.

Madopar. I understand. How much the treatment with Madopar really helped you?

-A little bit, nothing, actually. Because that is a medication for Parkinson’s disease and considering I have P.S.P. it didn’t help me at all.

I understand, and how did you find out about our clinic?

-From a friend, and my daughter who is constantly researching the internet was saying to me: Mum, don’t worry. But, you know, those are the words that are just said in certain situations…

Of course. Well, how did you decide to come to our clinic?

-It was a leap to the unknown, because in Italy stem cell treatment is not considered favorable. For that very reason I spent two years researching everything about stem cells on the internet, but every time I’ve mentioned that to the neurologist that treats my mum, he would always discourage me and say to absolutely not do it, that there is no cure, that it is yet to be discovered and therefore, every time I got my hopes up, I stopped myself because doctors didn’t recommend these stem cell treatments. But then, about a month ago, I stumbled across an article about the stem cell treatment again and I started researching and found this clinic. Then I’ve met up with one doctor seeking advice, and I was left discouraged again, a little bit because this clinic is set in Serbia, and there is a reason that technology in Italy is considered more advanced – she told me to be cautious, to be careful because there are many frauds out there when these kind of diseases are in question and that I shouldn’t trust it blindly, and then, nothing, I was again torn between whether to do it or not, but I didn’t have any other choice, because Madopar that she was taking wasn’t helping much, many side effects, and results kept decreasing as the time went by, she was more and more stiff. And then that story paralyzed me again, I scheduled an appointment with a neurologist again, at a private clinic, just so I can ask about this decision, just so I can ask about this clinic, so he can encourage me to make this step. And then, the day before the appointment, my dad told me to cancel it, that we already tried it that way, that we don’t need to hear what Italian neurologists have to say and that we must put our hopes into this clinic, because it is our last chance.

And then, once you came here, how did the treatment go? How did you feel?

-Very good. Compared to the medication she was taking, compared to how they were treating us before, we felt we weren’t just a statistic anymore… We were people, with a disease and that’s why we felt good.

Do you feel a little better since you started with the stem cell treatment?

-Yes, yes, yes, ever since the first intervention, yes. And that was this Friday, if I’m not mistaken… Anyway, this Friday, right after the first intervention was finished, in the first two days upon completion, we’ve noticed the first symptoms we’ve never seen before. And to answer the question you previously asked. Of course that the first meeting was positive, but we were very scared.

Of course, that’s understandable. But now, looking back on it – are you satisfied that you came here, are you satisfied with our doctors, our…

-Yes, yes, yes, yes, we are more than satisfied, because the results are very important. The result, after the second intervention on Tuesday, was permanent, long-term.

I’m very glad, Ms Maria. And now, what are your expectations?

-Well, the biggest expectations I have, knowing the way I came here and knowing that miracles don’t exist, is to hope that this ugly disease that is keeping my mum a prisoner, will be stopped at least. And that is my biggest hope, and all other positive results that occur, if they occur, are of course welcome. As she said, there are some things that really brought us joy – the fact that she was making these little movements with so much difficulty before, and now we notice she is doing them with ease. Compared to before, when she was really stiff, she is even able to move her eyes relatively well now. She used to have a frozen gaze… And we hope she will regain her independence a little bit… And of course, the doctors are amazing, and the thing that touched my heart the most was the relationship doctors have with their patients. Where we come from, it is hard to find a doctor that doesn’t just care about a disease, but about a patient as well. We’ve noticed that here the doctors, aside from treating a disease, pay attention to a patient as well, and all the staff, the staff is really excellent, we are just sorry we didn’t come here sooner, but all my worries, all my fears were holding me back from making this step, and what we want to say is to believe in yourself, to believe in this clinic, and even though miracles don’t exist, there are things that can help a person with this disease have a better life, and if a patient feels better, then that automatically means that the other one that is spending a life with that person will get to live better as well and will deal with this problem better, and in Italy nobody will give you this hope.

Thank you very much, to the whole family.

-Thank you.
